Special Notice 

Effective July 1, 2010, the Rural County Sales & Use Tax Deferral/Waiver Program will become the High Unemployment County Sales & Use Tax Deferral Program.  Under this new program, Whatcom County businesses will no longer be eligible to apply for the Sales & Use Tax Deferral/Waiver Program.  If you are planning on expanding your facility, starting new construction, or purchasing equipment, you must apply by June 30, 2010 to take advantage of this program.  For more information please refer to the Department of Revenue's website or check out the Program Application.
